Explore the magnificent Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, located north of Hilo on the Hamakua Coast.
You will have 1.5 - 2 hours to stroll on your own through a slice of tropical rain forest complete with orchids, heliconias, ginger, waterfalls, a fern garden, exotic birds and ocean shoreline.
More than 2,000 different species of plants are all labeled, including a very large display of orchids.
En route back to the ship, relax on a guided panoramic mini-tour of Hilo's Old Town.
