Don't miss this unique opportunity for a memorable and relaxing trip into the enchanting bio-luminescent bay at Laguna Grande of Fajardo.
Under the blanket of the night sky and in the company of the historic lighthouse of Fajardo, you'll kayak through the calm water, literally making it glow as you paddle. The bay is filled with bio-luminescent organisms that light up like glow worms or fireflies when physically agitated. While the organisms themselves are tiny, when a large number of them light up simultaneously, the effect is like a miniature Milky Way sweeping through the water -- truly a beautiful phenomenon.

Notes:
All kayaks are double -- weight per kayak must not exceed 400 pounds. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Minimum age is 6 years. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. The professional kayak guide(s) meet you upon arrival in Fajardo. Unguided travel time is approximately 1.5 hours each way. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel and insect repellent. Swim at your own risk. Participants must be able to swim and feel comfortable performing a water activity that requires balance. Do not bring electronic items that could get damaged when wet. Waterproof casings are recommended for cell phones. No guarantee is offered with regard to visibility of the bio-luminescent organisms on any particular day, as lunar and weather conditions are beyond the tour operator's control. Tour does not operate on Sundays.
