Never snorkeled before? Great news! This underwater adventure, suited to both first-time and experienced snorkelers, navigates the shallow, inner coral reefs of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Pitons Marine Sanctuary.
An experienced guide briefs you on techniques, snorkel safety, and the ecology of the reef. The comfortable boat offers water-level entry and in-water ladders for ease of returning to the boat.
See the towering Pitons and other gorgeous St Lucia scenery. Those preferring not to get wet can stay on the boat and be a "bubble-watcher."
Notes:
Depending on sea conditions, especially underwater currents, the catamaran captain may deceide to sail for viewing of the Pitons only, and then proceed to an alternative location for snorkeling. Minimum age is 7 years. Guests who are prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication. Do not drink alcoholic beverages prior to swimming/snorkeling activities. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Not suitable for persons with respiratory illness, mobility limitations, asthma, a heart condition, recovering from surgery or guests who are pregnant. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability before booking. Guests with pre-existing conditions or any other medical condition should take particular caution when selecting a tour and consult with their physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them. Rum punch is served after snorkeling.
