Starting from the pier in Eidfjord, a scenic panoramic drive takes you along the fjord with a short stop at the viewpoint in Bu for photos.
On your way to the village of Ulvik, you will drive over the new Hardanger Bridge -- the longest suspension bridge in Norway and one of the longest in the world. Ulvik is a small community with around 650 inhabitants, famous for cultivating various fruits, including apples, and is the second most important fruit-growing municipality in Norway.
You're headed to the Hardanger Juice & Cider Factory on Lekve Farm. The farm is located in the hills above Ulvik, with a beautiful view of the fjord below. Take a tour of the small factory and learn about juice, cider and apple brandy production. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste some of their products.
Before leaving the village of Ulvik, stop to view from the outside the Ulvik church, built in 1859.
