Enjoy a ride on the modern Voss Cable Car, the largest in northern Europe.
Leaving Eidfjord, a small village at the head of the fjord, your coach drives along the fjord and crosses over the Hardanger Bridge, through the Vallavik Tunnel, and alongside Gravin Lake. Ascending some hairpin bends, pause briefly to photograph the Skjervet Waterfall before continuing through the Skjervet Pass. You'll descend through the fertile landscape to Voss -- the largest town in the region and a popular ski resort and extreme sport center. Here, you'll hop aboard the newly-opened cable car for a 6.5-minute ride up the mountain to Hangurstoppen. At 2,690 feet (820m) above sea level, enjoy refreshments of coffee or tea and waffles, with a side of breathtaking views. Time permitting, head out into the fresh mountain air and enjoy a stroll on one of the many paths.
The cable car returns you to Voss for the coach journey back to Eidfjord.
